I am not sure how voice could do as far as sound design, but as far as performance it is doing quite well in SL stand up comedy. My very dear friend and fabulous SL comedian Lauren Weyland has been performing via SL voice for quite some time now, and it is definitely a great way of practice- she gets immediate and more close-up feedback from the audience which doesn't work with streaming. The only downfall, in my opinion, is that there is always someone running their fan into their open microphone or some earth baby finds it appropriate to start screaming in the middle of the show.  |
